On Vancouver Island with Pantuso Dance
FOUR PLANES.
TWO (and a half) DAYS.
NINE CLASSES.
AMAZING PEOPLE AND DANCERS.
GREAT, GREAT STUDIO AND FLOOR.
AWESOME RAW FOOD SPOT.
SUPER COOL HOTEL.
= Much Appreciation to Lindsay Sterk at Pantuso Dance for bringing me in as their first guest artist of the year! What a phenomenal few days this was. I had such a great time reaching & playing with all of the tappers! THANK YOU!
MY TRIP RECAP, IN PICTURE:
I rode on two planes each way. First on Air Canada, then Central Mountain Air. The CMA plane was the smallest plane I’ve ever been on – I think it seated about 20 people, though there were only about 10 of us on board. It was awesome. This was my window view (everyone had a window seat!)
Pantuso put me up in a super cool hotel with super cool tea stocked in my kitchenette called Two Leaves and a Bud. I’m not usually such a sucker for cool packaging, but theirs is brilliantly enticing. (Cut to me immediately heating a pot of water. Delicious as it looked!)

The hotel had a spa, too. This Spa Menu was waiting for me on my bed. I was really tempted to pop in for a quick massage, but I instead eased my tired muscles in my soaking tub. Ahhhh…
Right on the river. Went for a stroll on a trail as soon as I got in. Absolutely stunning! Nothing like those beautiful ripples to bring that calm, cleansing energy. Dig!
How cool is this for a sushi restaurant?! Wonderful people, establishment, and food. Yum.

Aww, tap dancer LOVE! Great tappers at Pantuso Dance; Great instructor, Lindsay Sterk; Incredibly supportive Pantuso Dance Auxillary Society. My deepest thanks to all. It was truly a pleasure.

Peace,
JS
